Find Your Perfect Match: Shentec Compatibility Guide
At SHENTEC, we want to ensure you get the right power solution for your tools and appliances on the first try. Using a battery with the correct specifications is vital for both performance and safety.
Follow this simple guide to identify your battery model and find its 100% compatible Shentec replacement.
Where to Look for the Model Number?
The Model Number (also known as Part Number or P/N) is the unique identifier for your battery. It is almost always printed on the technical label located on the bottom or side of your original battery.
For Power Tool Batteries (Makita, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Bosch, etc.)
- Locate the Label: Turn the battery over. Look for a silver, black, or white sticker.
-
Search for These Codes: Look for alphanumeric strings like:
-
Examples:
BL1830,DCB205,M18,48-11-1850,BP-185.
-
Examples:
- Note the Voltage: Ensure the replacement battery matches the voltage of your tool (e.g., 12V, 18V, 20V).
For Vacuum Cleaner Batteries (Dyson, Tineco, etc.)
- Check the Handle or Base: For handheld vacuums, the model info is usually on the base of the battery pack or behind the filter.
-
Identify the Series: Look for series names and specific product numbers.
-
Examples:
V6 Animal,V7 Motorhead,V8 Absolute,SV10,SV12.

Three Steps to Identify Your Battery
- Step 1: Remove the Battery
- Detach the battery from your tool or vacuum to see the hidden side of the casing.
- Step 2: Find the "P/N" or "Model"
- Scan the small text for keywords like Model, Part No, P/N, or Replace. This is the code you should enter into our search bar.
- Step 3: Verify the Voltage ($V$)
- While the capacity (measured in mAh or Ah) can be higher than your original (giving you longer runtime), the Voltage must match exactly.
